We have
meticulously assembled a collection of recycled, handmade
decorative paper, stationery, and gift items. We continuously strive to
bring superior papers and products to you and are
constantly reviewing our portfolio of
offerings with the objective of introducing new designs, prints, colors,
and finishes to suit your needs.
Handmade paper is
an ancient art evolved by the early civilizations of Asia. Even today
the process of making paper by hand involves painstaking care, artistic
skill, and great passion. An amazing amount of creativity, research and
effort go into designing and developing our products. No compromise is
made on quality, which we maintain at the highest standards. The price
points of our products are very reasonable and compare favorably with
conventional papers and stationery.
Our papers are
excellent for use as gift-wrap, for making invitations, greeting cards
and stationery, for collage and scrap-booking and home decor purposes,
among other uses. Our specialty items include: journals and pocketbooks,
photo-albums & scrap-books, guest-books, gift-tags, note-cards, greeting
cards, stationery and letter-sets, folders, CD gift covers, and posters.
We introduce new
products each year around May. We feature four basic collections in our
Recycled Stationery line: Artistic, Pressed Dried Flowers, Marbled and
Foliage, which comes in four variations: Leaf Imprints, Embedded
Foliage, Kimono, Gessato and Translucent. We welcome custom orders and
will gladly provide private labeling if you so desire it.
Besides being
fabulous to look at and use, our papers are resilient and
environmentally friendly. Most of our papers are made from 100% recycled
textile waste, primarily cotton rag. Some varieties also contain
recycled silk and jute. Additional materials such as bagasse, a form of
waste sugarcane, provide special textures and enhance the appearance of
some of our products. Every ton of traditional handmade paper saves an
estimated 277 eucalyptus trees or 462 bamboo trees that would have been
destroyed to make the same quantity of milled paper.
Each purchase you
make does far more than simply provide you with unique quality
merchandise. You also support three Indian cooperatives, established to
help local communities develop their economies and improve the lives of
their populace by imparting skills and providing employment to the
needy. (No child labor is permitted.) With every purchase you contribute
to the livelihood of many underprivileged and thankful families. You
also encourage recycling efforts which help to make the world we live in
more sustainable. And, finally you help us achieve our primary objective
of preserving, reviving, replenishing, and renewing our natural
resources to the utmost.
Revive,
Recycle, Replenish!
